Bathroom Mirror Medicine Cabinet
When you are considering remodeling your bathroom, you might not think one of your most important decisions might be the medicine cabinet.
While medicine cabinets might have not changed very much in their standard design, you might be amazed by the dozens of styles being offered.
Of course there is the traditional box medicine cabinet built into the wall near the sink, but there are also other cabinets that can sit on the counter top or that can become part of of a shelving unit that stands above the toilet tank. Some medicine cabinets may be part of of a freestanding separate piece of furniture that may also serve as a linen cabinet.
You also have surface mount bathroom medicine cabinets, mirror bathroom medicine cabinets, wooden medicine cabinets and others. If you are left-handed, choose a medicine cabinet with reversible mounting. The choice is wide.
How to choose between these possibilities?
-First you are trying to fit a lot of things in a small space. Medicine cabinets are miniature closets.
-They keep all your bathroom essentials in one spot, organized, clean and easy to find.
-And they often hold the important bathroom mirror, adding a bit of style in the bathroom.
Swing door medicine cabinets look great hung over a pedestal sink.
Side wall cabinets are mounted somewhere else than above the sink and are longer and taller than other styles. These medicine cabinets can store larger things such as shampoo bottles.
Triple view medicine cabinets. Some of these have a mirror in the center panel and two side storage sections. Some other models have three sections open for storage. This type of cabinet is great for more than one person.
Surface mounted styles are mounted on the wall and secured with studs, while recessed or semi-recessed medicine cabinets may require more planning but give a cleaner appearance.
All styles of medicine cabinets offer options for mirror location. Choose from the basic mirror option  on the outside of a closed door, a mirror in the back of the cabinet interior, a mirror on the inside as well as on the outside of the door, for mirror viewing while cabinet is open. Choose from double-mirrored doors, swing-out magnifying mirrors, sliding doors, triple doors, or even heated mirrors which do not become clogged by steam.
A well chosen medcine cabinet adds a lot of functionality in your bathroom design.
And there are other types of medicine cabinets.

I don’t have a medicine cabinet in my bathroom, we have got the medicine cabinet to another place of our house but it’s good to have it there since sometimes while shaving etc, we get cuts so it’s important to apply it quickly there.

I will keep medicine cabinet in mind whenever redesigning my bathroom again.

    Thanks

    Hi monika!
Ordering is very simple. Choose “Canadian auctions”, and next click on what you are looking for.
A page will open with the seller’s information, and you will be able to place an order.

I prefer the white one, New Waterworks Recessed Wood Medicine Cabinet Mirror. White goes very well with modern style.

What a novel idea to have a medicine cabinet recessed and then to look like a hanging picture. I think it’s a great way to add interesting decoration to your bathroom, without losing any space that could be used practically. Fantastic!

Hi. Thanks for this interesting post. Me? I prefer the traditional one but added with some design and texture so that it would look nice and clean.
